NEW AKC CHAMPION! Pickle Man Parides Razamataz Whirlwind PC (aka Problem Child, aka Pickle Man, aka Taz) His Sire is our UKC CH D'Vine Whirlwind Ryder Parides, and the Dam is our UKC CH D'Vine Raye of Sunshine Parides. Problem Child, was born May 9, 2011. From the moment he was born, he has lived up to the name, 'Problem Child.' This little guy was in training for the conformation ring with Shirley Myall at Zeley's Papillons in Williamsburg, VA. Shirley fondly calls him Pickle Man because he just can't seem to keep himself out of trouble and is always getting himself into a pickle. Pickle started his UKC show career off with a BANG, with Shirley Myall handling! At the age of 6 months, he went Best of Breed eleven of twelve times, had seven Group placements, and is Ranked the UKC #9 Papillon for 2011, which qualified him to participate in the UKC Premier Show, June 2012. However, Pickle Man could not compete at the UKC Premier, because his one of his new co-owners will be a Judge at the Premier. New UKC Champion!
Pickle Man started his show career on 11-11-11 at the UKC shows in Chesterfield Virginia. There were six shows, two each day. Five of the six shows, Pickle Man went Best of Breed. Three of the six shows, Pickle Man got a Group placement. Many thanks to the judges for these wonderful placements. Special thanks to Shirley Myall for her expertise in training and handling this beautiful boy.
Friday, first show, he went Winners Dog, Best of Breed, and then got a Group 4 in the Companion Group under Judge Lynn Martin. Not too shabby for his first time in the ring!
Friday, second show, he went Winners Dog and Best of Breed, under Judge Barbara Marin.
Saturday, first show, Pickle Man was Winners Dog, but did not achieve a Best of Breed. Shirley said he looked up at her as if to ask, 'What the heck happened?'
Saturday, second show, Pickle Man went Best of Breed, under Judge Rowdy Yates.
